CHARNEY HALL Old Boys 6

Max Seddon McNeill

Born in Blackburn, Lancashire in January 1962, Max McNeill (Charney Hall  -73?) (Rossall SE 76-78) features in May 2017 in the Rossall ‘Amazing Alumni’.

At this moment his attendance at Charney Hall is lost in the mists of time - another reason why the School Lists demand further research. However his considerable success both as a business entrepreneur and racehorse owner together with his other family and sporting interests must surely have had their beginnings in the classrooms and playing fields of our old school….!

I attach below some articles which describe the magnitude of his achievements so far in life and which give an indication of the enthusiasm and commitment that is so evident in all that he does.

Question : ‘What achievement are you most proud of ?’

Max McNeill : ‘Growing Ultima over 25 years from zero to £100m and 350 people (over a third of whom have been here for 10 years plus) with no outside investment, funding or debt.’
